Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information L.A. Elite Window Cleaning, Inc. collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have — including how to stop our emails and texts at any time.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to L.A. Elite Window Cleaning, Inc. ("L.A. Elite," "we," "us," or "our") and to elitewindowcleaning.net, our online estimate tool, our customer account area, and the emails and text messages we send you. It covers information about customers, prospective customers, and website visitors.
Our Terms & Conditions govern the services themselves. This Policy is about your information.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you request a quote, book service, or create an account:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number.
- Service address — street address, city, and ZIP code of the property to be serviced.
- Property details — information you enter to price the job, such as approximate square footage, number of stories, window counts, surfaces, and the services you are interested in.
- Account credentials — if you choose to create a password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plain-text password.
- Messages and feedback — anything you send us by email, text, web form, or our feedback tool.
Payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). Your full card number is entered on their secure checkout and is not stored on our systems. We receive limited details such as the amount, date, status, and a reference to the transaction.
If you sign in with Google. Our customer account area offers "Sign in with Google." If you use it, Google confirms your identity to us and shares your name and email address. We never receive your Google password.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects some technical information as you browse:
- IP address, general location (typically city-level), browser and device type.
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, and time on page.
- Cookies and similar technologies used by the analytics tools listed in Section 5.
We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with our pages (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) so we can see where the site is confusing. This produces a playback of your session on our site. It is used to improve the website — it does not capture your keystrokes in password fields, and we do not use it to identify you personally.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To prepare estimates and quote your job accurately.
- To schedule, route, and perform your service, and to reach you about it.
- To process reservations, payments, and refunds, and to send receipts, estimates, and invoices.
- To provide customer support and respond to your questions or feedback.
- To operate our loyalty and membership programs, where you have joined one.
- To send you promotions and seasonal offers — only if you have opted in (see Section 4).
- To improve our website, our pricing, and our services.
- To keep records, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
4. Email & Text Messages (SMS) — Your Consent and How to Stop Them
We treat these as two separate things, and you control them separately:
- Service messages — appointment confirmations, reminders, arrival notices, estimates, invoices, receipts, and billing notices. These relate to work you asked us to do.
- Promotional messages — discounts, seasonal offers, and membership promotions. These are optional. Agreeing to them is never a condition of service, of membership, or of any purchase.
How to stop them. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email. You may also call or email our office (Section 10) and ask us to stop. Opting out of promotional messages will not affect the service messages for a job you have booked, and will not affect the quality of your service.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We keep a record of your consent — what you agreed to and the date you agreed — so we can honor your choices and show that we did.
5. Who We Share Information With
We share information with the companies that help us run the business. They may only use it to perform their service for us.

We may also disclose information when we are required by law (such as a subpoena or court order), to protect our rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.
These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their independent data practices.
6. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or trade our customer list.
In the interest of being straight with you: we use Google Analytics and advertising-related cookies on our website. Under California law, that kind of analytics and advertising cookie use can be treated as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can limit it by using your browser's cookie controls or its Global Privacy Control setting, or by contacting us at Section 10 and asking us to opt you out. This does not apply to your phone number or SMS consent, which are never shared for marketing (Section 4).
7. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.
- Access a copy of that information.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your personal information, subject to exceptions — for example, we may need to keep records of completed work, payments, and consent for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
- Opt out of the "sharing" described in Section 6.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service, change your price, or lower your service quality because you exercised a privacy right.

We will verify your request by confirming information we already have on file for you (such as the email, phone number, or service address associated with your account). You may use an authorized agent. We aim to respond within 45 days.
8. How Long We Keep It & How We Protect It
- We keep customer and job records for as long as you are a customer and afterward as needed for warranty, legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
- We keep consent records for as long as we may need to demonstrate that you gave consent, plus a reasonable period afterward.
- We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No website or system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Children
Our services and website are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
